We are seeking an organised, proactive and detail‑focused Paralegal to support the legal and governance functions for a fast growing FinTech. This is a varied role combining day‑to‑day paralegal support offering excellent exposure to legal, regulatory and corporate governance work.
The Role
Working closely with senior legal and governance colleagues, you will:
- Provide paralegal support, including legal research, drafting, document management and assisting with contract reviews.
- Help coordinate governance processes such as meeting scheduling, minute‑taking, action tracking and compliance monitoring.
- Assist with the organisation and administration of legal and corporate documentation, ensuring accuracy and version control.
- Liaise with internal teams and external advisers to support smooth and timely delivery of legal and governance tasks.
- Support company secretarial activities, including maintaining statutory records, preparing Board and Committee packs, and assisting with Companies House filings.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of legal and governance processes, templates and systems.
About You
We are looking for someone who brings:
- Experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant or Company Secretarial Assistant
- Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Confident written communication skills and a professional, discreet approach.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
- Interest in governance, compliance and corporate administration.
