- Hours: Option A: 1 day, 6 hours (8:45am-3:15pm)
- Option B: 2 days, 12 hours (8:45am-3:15pm)
- Term time only plus INSET
- Fixed Term Contract linked to child’s EHCP funding
- Start Date: As soon as possible (pending DBS clearance and references).

The Board of Trustees seeks to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (One to One Support) who is committed and passionate about enabling pupils with additional needs to succeed and providing high quality support. The postholder will work one-to-one with a pupil in Reception with an Education, Health and Care Plan, and may also support other learners as needed.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Enable pupils with additional needs to access learning in a mainstream classroom, including support with learning, behaviour and intimate care.
- Deliver specific support to raise the attainment of pupils with additional needs.
- Enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning.
- Commit to high standards and adapt lesson plans and resources to meet individual needs.
- Have good knowledge and experience of working with children with complex needs/disabilities.
- Work independently to deliver, monitor and evaluate the success of interventions.
- Keep detailed records of progress and attainment.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Have excellent communication skills and build positive relationships with parents, pupils and staff.
- Contribute to the broader life of the school community.
