About The Role: As an Account Manager, you’ll be the face of Ria in Leicester, responsible for expanding our network of agents and driving business growth. Your mission is to identify potential partners, present Ria as a trusted business opportunity, and build long-term relationships that deliver value for both sides. This is a field-based role (around 90% travel), perfect for someone who thrives on autonomy, enjoys meeting new people, and loves closing deals.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and manage a portfolio of agent businesses offering Ria’s money transfer services.
- Drive new business through prospecting, cold calling, and face-to-face meetings.
- Present Ria’s value proposition and manage the full sales cycle from sign-up to onboarding and training.
- Build strong relationships with agents to ensure loyalty and growth.
- Provide ongoing support, including compliance guidance, marketing materials, and system training.
- Monitor market trends, gather competitor insights, and implement local marketing plans when needed.
- Report regularly to the Sales Manager North on progress and performance.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Ideally some experience in field sales or a client facing role (money transfer experience is a plus).
- Skills: Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.
- Mindset: Highly motivated, target-driven, and resilient under pressure.
- Other: Own a car and be comfortable traveling extensively within your territory. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong business acumen. Additional language skills are a bonus!
