About the Role

Based from our Milton Keynes Head Office, this full-time role focuses on the day-to-day operational management of a portfolio of Single Family Homes across Milton Keynes, Bedford, Kent and Cambridge. You will manage a portfolio of approximately 450 homes, with regular travel to portfolio locations to carry out property inspections, move-ins, inventories and check-ins/check-outs, ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard and managed in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. Working closely with the Senior Property Manager, this is a varied, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys being out on site, problem-solving, and delivering an excellent customer experience. Travel will be planned by location, allowing full days at individual sites rather than moving between locations.

What You Will Do

  • Carry out six-monthly property inspections across the SFH portfolio
  • Identify and report maintenance, health & safety and compliance issues
  • Coordinate and conduct tenant move-ins, check-ins and check-outs
  • Complete and review inventory checks at the start and end of tenancies
  • Ensure properties are presented to a high standard prior to occupancy
  • Compare check-out conditions against inventories and report damages or issues
  • Liaise with contractors, tenants and internal teams as required
  • Maintain accurate inspection notes, reports and records on property systems
  • Escalate urgent repairs, risks or recurring issues to the Senior Property Manager
  • Support ad-hoc property-related tasks across the portfolio

What You Will Have

  • Experience in a client-facing property management role
  • Background in Single Family Housing, Build-to-Rent, PBSA or a leading letting agency (desirable)
  • Excellent customer service with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and confidently manage your workload
  • A proactive, professional and collaborative approach
