We are an award-winning property developer with over 30 years experience creating high-quality homes and communities across the UK. As a market-leading developer in the living sector, we acquire strategic, greenfield and brownfield land opportunities and deliver Build-to-Rent (BtR), Single Family Housing (SFH) and Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA). Our London team is at the forefront of identifying, underwriting and delivering high-value land and investment opportunities.

Working Hours: 8am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch)

About the role:

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across both land acquisition and investment sales within a fast-paced London team. Working closely with the Land Manager and/or Investment Associate, you will support the marketing of forward funding and investment assets, assist in managing transactions, and contribute to the financial underwriting of new development opportunities. You will gain exposure to high-value single asset and portfolio acquisitions and sales, developing in-depth knowledge across multiple residential asset classes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pre-sale due diligence alongside land, planning, technical and investment teams
  • Assisting in reviewing and analysing new development opportunities
  • Contributing to investment committee reports
  • Preparing financial appraisals and underwriting investment sales across BtR, SFH and PBSA assets
  • Assisting in the production of marketing collateral for investment disposals
  • Supporting the drafting and negotiation of heads of terms for land acquisitions and investment sales
  • Managing elements of land or investment transactions, including responding to enquiries and accompanying investors on inspections
  • Building and maintaining relationships with landowners, agents and prospective investors

About You:

We are looking for a driven and commercially aware individual with a strong interest in property and development. You will:

  • Be degree qualified (or equivalent) in a property-related subject
  • Have experience in a land, investment or development-related role (residential experience preferred)
  • Have strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial models
  • Demonstrate strong numeracy and an understanding of development economics
  • Show commercial awareness of the UK residential property market
  • Be highly organised, intuitive and reliable
  • Be confident communicating with senior stakeholders, external consultants and investors
  • Be proactive, motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
