Working alongside experienced professionals across our Land and Investment teams, you’ll gain exposure to the full development lifecycle, supporting the identification, appraisal, acquisition and disposal of residential development opportunities. Based in our London office, this role offers the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across Build‑to‑Rent, Single Family Housing and Purpose‑Built Student Accommodation while developing your commercial, financial and analytical skills.
What you will do
- Support the Land and Investment teams in reviewing and assessing new development opportunities.
- Assist with financial appraisals and underwriting of land acquisitions and investment opportunities.
- Prepare reports and supporting documentation for investment and land approvals.
- Assist in producing marketing materials for investment sales across Build‑to‑Rent, Single Family Housing and Purpose‑Built Student Accommodation assets.
- Carry out market research and analysis to support strategic business decisions.
- Support land acquisitions and investment transactions from initial appraisal through to completion.
- Assist with pre‑sale due diligence alongside Planning, Technical, Land and Investment teams.
- Support the preparation and negotiation of Heads of Terms for acquisitions and disposals.
- Liaise with solicitors, consultants, agents and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
- Respond to enquiries and support investor and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with landowners, land agents, investment agents and prospective investors.
- Attend site visits and inspections alongside senior colleagues.
- Develop an understanding of market trends, development opportunities and investment activity across the UK residential sector.
- Support the wider team in identifying new business opportunities and maintaining market intelligence.
About You
- Degree qualified in a property‑related discipline or equivalent.
- A genuine interest in land, development, investment or real estate.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Commercially aware with strong attention to detail.
