We are looking for an organised and motivated finance professional to join our Reporting Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This opportunity would suit a part-qualified accountant or an experienced finance professional looking to further develop their accounting and reporting experience within a large, fast-paced business environment. You will support the preparation of management accounts, month-end reporting, audit requirements, and financial reporting processes, helping to ensure accurate and timely financial information across the group. This is an excellent opportunity to build experience within a multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional environment while working alongside experienced finance professionals.
What you will do:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Support month-end reporting processes
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Maintain accurate financial records and reporting documentation
- Assist with the preparation of information for year-end accounts and external audit
- Support statutory reporting requirements across group entities
- Respond to finance queries from internal and external stakeholders
What you will have:
- Previous experience in an accounting, audit or finance role
- Part-qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA / AAT, or qualified by experience
- Good working knowledge of Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Positive and proactive approach to work
- Experience within construction, property or project-based businesses would be beneficial but is not essential
