About the Role

This is a site-based role, primarily across Manchester, with occasional time in our Altrincham office, supporting Dandara Living’s Legacy team. The Legacy team is responsible for upgrading pre-Grenfell apartment buildings to meet current building safety and fire remediation legislation. Reporting to the Client Liaison & Contracts Manager, the Resident Liaison Officer plays a critical role in supporting project delivery through direct communication with residents and leaseholders. You’ll act as a key point of contact on site, helping to coordinate access, manage expectations, support resident welfare, and ensure works are delivered as smoothly as possible in live, occupied environments. Alongside resident engagement, the role includes responsibility for document control processes across Legacy sites, ensuring accurate records, compliance, and robust data management throughout each project.

What You Will Do

  • Act as the primary point of contact for residents and leaseholders on site
  • Support planning and programming of works in occupied apartments and communal areas
  • Coordinate access arrangements and assist with resident relocations where required
  • Carry out daily welfare checks and respond to resident queries
  • Deliver resident communications including letter drops, phone calls, and correspondence
  • Maintain and update resident query and communication trackers
  • Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates to key stakeholders
  • Support stakeholder and expectation management across live sites
  • Monitor site conditions and report risks or issues promptly
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in collaboration with site teams
  • Manage document control processes using A Site (or similar systems)
  • Ensure GDPR compliance when handling resident data
  • Support audits and compliance tracking across all Legacy sites
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating health and safety risks in occupied buildings

What You Will Have

  • Experience in a construction or site-based role
  • Experience working in live, occupied environments (ideally residential)
  • Strong communication skills with a calm, approachable, and professional manner
  • Confidence engaging with residents, stakeholders, and site teams
  • Good knowledge of health and safety and CDM requirements
  • Experience using A Site or similar document control systems
  • A construction qualification or equivalent site experience
  • Fire stopping experience (desirable, not essential)
  • A full UK driving licence, with flexibility to travel between sites
