Our Customer Care team in the Isle of Man make sure home buyers receive the very best care following their home buying experience. Customers expect their homes to be of the highest standard, and you will make sure they are, by being on hand with answers and practical help. More importantly than that though, is your passion for quality and professionalism.
What you’ll be doing:
- Act as the first point of contact for homeowners regarding customer care and defect enquiries.
- Log, track, and manage customer care issues from report through to resolution.
- Schedule and coordinate Customer Care Technicians and subcontractors to attend remedial works.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners to manage expectations and appointment times.
- Ensure defects are addressed within agreed service levels and warranty requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer care records and systems.
- Monitor outstanding issues and follow up to ensure timely completion.
- Support defect inspections and quality checks where required.
- Escalate unresolved or high-risk issues to Customer Care Management.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, consumer codes, and health & safety requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of customer care processes and customer satisfaction.
- Follow up on customer feedback via customer surveys in close cooperation with Customer Care Manager.
- Strive to achieve gains in ‘Customer Satisfaction’ and ‘Recommended’ ratings as reported by HBF.
- Carry out day to day office administration to drive smooth running of the department.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in a Customer Care Coordinator, Customer Service, or Aftercare role, ideally within housebuilding or residential construction.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities.
- Confident in dealing with homeowners, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Comfortable using customer care systems and Microsoft Office.
- Calm, professional, and solutions-focused approach.
- Understanding of new-build warranty processes is advantageous but not essential.
