Autin Dance Theatre is on the lookout for two outstanding male-identifying performers with strong partnering, dance theatre, and outdoor touring experience to join Parade – The Giant Wheel for its 2025 tour.

About the Show
Parade – The Giant Wheel is a large-scale, high-impact outdoor spectacle celebrating human connection, resilience, and movement. At the heart of the show is a stunning 12-foot tall Giant Wheel—powered by five dance artists—accompanied by music and a local community cast. The 50-minute, processional performance moves through public spaces, weaving together contemporary storytelling, striking physicality, and spectacular design. Expect to lift, balance, partner, improvise, and interact with audiences in a vibrant, ever-changing outdoor setting.
We are particularly keen to hear from performers from the Global Majority and underrepresented groups, including those who identify as living with a disability.
What We’re Looking For
- Highly skilled, expressive, and physically strong performers
- At least 3 years of professional experience
- Excel in partnering and contact work
- Strong contemporary dance and physical theatre skills
- Confident with character work and audience interaction
- Experience in improvisation, devising, and ensemble movement
- Team players with great energy and a sense of humour
Bonus: Experience in outdoor arts, acrobatics, or working with large set is a plus!
