The Supply Chain Business Analyst is responsible for helping identify the opportunities and priorities that lie within our global supply chain organization that will help drive the business strategy and objectives. This position reports to the Planning Centre of Excellence Director and is part of the Global Supply Chain Organization located in Cardiff OR Amersham OR Newquay OR Portsmouth and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

  • Utilize data-driven insights and standardized processes to identify and resolve issues, and to assess performance and capability gaps across the global supply chain from both cost and service perspectives.
  • Develop early-warning indicators to proactively detect risks such as demand variability, capacity constraints, and inventory imbalances, while leveraging advanced analytics, automation, and AI to enhance visibility, agility, and overall efficiency across our planning landscape.
  • Challenge data, insights, and trends to identify systemic issues and prioritize root-cause investigations.
  • Support the development and roll out of planning standards, SOPs, and governance structures.
  • Support in the establishment around the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track the adherence of the supply chain strategic improvements.

Who you are:

  • 3+ years of SAP and Oracle experience in commercial, manufacturing and logistics operational roles in multicultural environments, with proven experience in continuous process improvement to draw upon in this role.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and key integration points, with a strong focus on technology-enabled planning, complemented by excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret and act on complex data.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively at all levels, translating complex concepts into clear, simple messages, combined with a highly analytical mindset and a structured, objective approach to problem-solving.
