We are looking for a Sr Business Systems Specialist - MCAD to drive the global PLM/MCAD strategy, standardising engineering processes, and delivering scalable digital transformation initiatives that enhance product development, support business growth, and maximise user adoption across a global organisation.

What You’ll Do

  • Shape the Future of PLM/MCAD: Work with the strategy and roadmap for our PLM/MCAD platform, ensuring tight alignment with business priorities and seamless integration across the enterprise technology landscape.
  • Global Standardization Efforts: Partner cross-functionally and across regions to establish and enforce standardized engineering processes and system capabilities, enabling consistency, scalability, and efficiency worldwide.
  • Translate Business Needs into Scalable Solutions / Amplify the Voice of the Customer (VoC): Analyze complex business challenges and deliver pragmatic, best-practice recommendations that enhance engineering processes, products and services. Actively engage in governance board and user council forums to capture business needs, translating them into prioritized and actionable system enhancements delivered in collaboration with IT and external partners.
  • Support Growth Initiatives: Provide expert guidance in mergers and acquisitions, ensuring effective integration of platforms and harmonization of engineering processes.
  • Ensure Platform Excellence: Perform functional testing and system administration to maintain a stable, high-performing PLM/MCAD environment.
  • Enable/Empower Users and Provide Expert-Level Support: Deliver impactful end-user training across multiple channels, driving adoption and maximizing value from the platform. Serve as a trusted advisor to users, delivering high-quality support and resolving complex issues to ensure business continuity and user satisfaction.

Who you are

  • MSc or BSc in Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years in Product Development/R&D/Engineering, with a deep understanding of industry roles, processes, and best practices, supported by a well-established professional network.
  • A proven track record of driving digital transformation and delivering strategic initiatives in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Long-standing experience in standardization, process optimization and enterprise systems improvement.
  • Your domain expertise includes enterprise PLM/PDM platforms (such as Windchill or Enovia), and experience with multiple MCAD tools (e.g. Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor).
  • A natural influencer, excelling at engaging stakeholders, leading change, and communicating with clarity and impact.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Thrive in global, cross-cultural environments, working seamlessly across teams and geographies, and comfortable with both domestic and international travel.

The annual salary range for this role is $135,000 - $145,000. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
