The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for delivering high-quality, actionable insights to the commercial organization, enabling effective customer relationship management, sales performance monitoring, and contract profitability tracking in line with internal policies. In addition, the role leads cross-functional initiatives and drives complex problem-solving efforts, ensuring timely, accurate, and end-to-end analyses that support strategic decision-making at both regional and EMEA levels.

This position reports to the Head of Commercial Excellence and Business Analytics (EMEA) and is part of the EMEA Sales Operation and Enablement team and will be located in Amersham (England) and will be fully remote to cover the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands and Nordic countries.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Integrate multiple data sources and analytics to generate business insights and support decisions.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators to drive results.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and drivers.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to visualize performance, and support sales budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring of EU profitability KPIs.
  • Support local leadership in deploying business strategies, and ensure effective problem-solving to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.
  • Analyze and improve key business processes like sales budgeting and forecasting.
  • Develop frameworks to reduce inefficiencies and streamline Sales and non-Sales operations.
  • Manage CRM processes to ensure high data quality and system use.
  • Deliver training, manage user access, support system enhancements, and represent the region in BI forums.
  • Support rollout of EU pricing processes, contribute to CPQ tool updates, and help prepare customer offers with a focus on profitability.
  • Lead cross-functional projects in sales analytics, process improvement, and business transformation.
  • Define project scope, apply problem-solving, and facilitate stakeholder alignment and decisions.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or related field.
  • Strong experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, dashboard design) and data architecture principles (data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes, identify potential improvements and recommend solutions in daily operations and translate it into workable solutions.
  • Detail-oriented and with ability to work under pressure. Logical, Rigorous and disciplined approach.
  • Flexibility, patience, and an understanding of fluid, demanding, and unstructured environments where priorities evolve constantly, capable to effectively deal with uncertainty and ambiguity.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel 20% within territory or locations.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • SQL and any other relational databases.
  • Sales Operations, preferably in Sanitary/Pharmaceutical Sector is a plus.
  • Lean Change Management Models.
  • Proficiency in Spanish, Italian, or other European languages.
