TheSales Specialist, Digital Pathologyfor Leica Biosystems, is responsible for effectively developing the growth of the regional Digital Pathology business in Eastern Europe, ensuring the implementation of the DP strategy, owning and leading the regional activity to win business by supporting current distributors win new accounts and maintain existing Leica customers.

This position is part of the Digital Pathology department and will befully remotein Eastern Europe. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

You will be a part of the NEE ( Northern & Eastern Europe)Team and report to the Digital Pathology Regional Sales Manager NEE.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Execute the regional Digital Pathology business strategy – with a specific focus on market share capture.
  • Partner with the Account Managers team & Chanel Partners to manage the Digital Pathology sales opportunities at the regional level in large and medium size competitive accounts across the entire funnel process from lead to implementation.
  • Build and deliver Digital Pathology projects that match Customer needs & expectations.
  • Partner continuously with the Sales Enablement Manager, Regional Sales & Channel Partner Managers, Distributor Partners and EMEA Digital Pathology & Workflow Team to ensure consistent above-market growth.
  • Liaise with Distribution and Customer IT departments to effectively design and implement the Digital Pathology solution.
  • Research and develop new opportunities to increase Leica Biosystems\’ market share.
  • Support the tender response team on the technical application process.

The essential requirements of the job include the following:

  • University’s degree in IT or Engineering or Medical Sciences.
  • Minimum 8 years of Sales experience in the Health Care IT environment: knowledge of technologies, products, processes and selling/purchasing with the hospital environment, competitor and market awareness. In Imaging and Digital Pathology would be an advantage.
  • Understanding of LIS, HIS, PACS and other hospital and laboratory information systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken. Another European language would be beneficial.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

• Willing to travel within defined territory up to 60% of the time.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in the following:

  • Understanding of the requirements and the importance of following procedures and process as this is a highly regulated sector by the IVDR, FDA and other governmental bodies.
