The Project Sourcing Leader - NPD - Non-Metallics will provide sourcing support for Open Innovation (OI), Technology (Tech) and New Product Development (NPD). In this role, the Project Sourcing Leader will take ownership for activities related to project sourcing to ensure the business has the right partner(s) from a cost, quality, delivery, capability, business risk, project execution and growth perspective. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Strategic Sourcing – Non-Metallics and is part of the Supply Chain & Logistics function and will be an on-site role.
What you will do:
- Interact with R&D, Engineering, Operational and Supply Chain functions to provide Global Sourcing, Outsourcing, Insourcing, overall Sub-Contract Management in support of OI, Tech, and NPD projects.
- Work in conjunction with the Global Supply Chain, Security of Supply, Supplier Development and Direct/Indirect Sourcing functions to deliver business and Global Sourcing Strategy objectives.
- Be the primary point of contact to the project core team to manage the sourcing activities related to either Non-Metallics and in some instance Hardware; from RFQ through to contract execution, inclusive of cost and delivery changes incurred through design change.
- Support R&D 3P, design reviews, kaizens and regular project meetings to enforce sourcing’s position within the core team.
- Deliver the sourcing requirements of the project; whilst achieving sourcing strategy, cost, quality, delivery, security of supply, sustainability and Design for Excellence (DfX) objectives.
Who you are:
- A Professional Procurement qualification, or BA or BS degree or at least 5 years’ work experience in Sourcing, Project Management, Engineering or Supply Chain.
- Proven experience in leading or participating in activities related to New Product Development.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written & presentation); skilled in working collaboratively with remote personnel.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel 10%-20%– may be required to travel to other Cytiva sites and/or suppliers’ facilities.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Oracle, SAP, Qlik or other relevant BI and purchasing tools, Supply Chain or Sourcing, Project management.

The annual salary range for this role is $100,000.00 to $120,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
