The R&D Engineering Technician for Cytiva is responsible for assisting in Research & Development projects conducted within the department whilst also helping with the general day-to-day running of the site. These projects may relate to the development of new products and/or technical investigations required to support the sale of existing products.

The work will involve:

  • Ownership of laboratory H&S, test risk assessments, 5S and act as main point of contact for off-site R&D laboratory facility, ensuring good housekeeping, supervising and improving safety policies.
  • Day-to-day running of the Langstone Park site, including managing on-site storage, fork-lift truck operation, goods-in/out.
  • Ownership of Harbourgate applications lab maintenance activities (inventory, calibrations and servicing) and perfusion run preparations (manifold/media prep).

This position is part of the Harward Solutions located in Harbourgate although the role will be predominantly based at Langstone Park and will be an onsite role.
