The Marketing Writer is responsible for the creation, optimization, and finalization of written content that clearly communicates Cytiva values and knowledge to the target audience to help achieve a marketing objective. The writer will work across multiple content types and ensure that each piece resonates with current brand and campaign-specific messaging. This position reports to the Editorial Manager and is part of the Marketing Communications team located in Portsmouth or Amersham and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

  • Write or edit content that informs, engages and influences the target audience
  • Ensure all content complies with Cytiva style guidelines and local regulatory requirements
  • Work cross-functionally with content stakeholders to develop messaging and narratives that support project goals
  • Measure, analyse and report the performance of selected rich content to define and advance best content practice

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English or a related field
  • Long-standing experience of writing
  • Excellent writing skills with a proven record of writing to a defined brief to create content that performs
  • Strong project management and organization skills to enable on time delivery and attention to detail
  • Experience working with diverse, complex cross-functional, global teams

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Life sciences industry and the research, development, or manufacture of drug products
  • Integrated marketing strategy and xEO optimization to support outbound and organic marketing activities
  • Working with international teams
