The off-shift Maintenance Technician (T1) will work alongside a team of skilled technicians to support the upkeep, troubleshooting, and basic repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems across laboratory, office, and manufacturing spaces. This is a hands-on role designed for someone eager to learn, build technical skills, and gain experience in a regulated facility environment. You’ll be supported by experienced team members while gradually developing the ability to take on more responsibility. This position reports to the Facilities Manager and is part of the Facilities and Production Equipment team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance on facility systems such as HVAC, basic electrical, plumbing, and utilities.
  • Perform routine inspections to help identify maintenance needs and keep systems running safely and efficiently.
  • Respond to and document facility requests, alarms, and minor equipment issues with guidance from senior technicians.

Who You Are:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, skilled trades, or a related hands-on technical role (or equivalent training/education).
  • General knowledge or exposure to one or more of the following: electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical equipment.
  • It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
    • Exposure to building management systems (BMS).
    • Experience working in manufacturing, laboratory, or regulated environment.
    • Familiarity with CMMS tools (e.g., Infor EAM).

The hourly range for this role is $24–28. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
