The Credit & Collection Specialist is responsible for the timely collection of open invoices for the European based entities. This position reports to the Manager of Credit and Collections and is part of the finance department and will be based in the UK office.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Monitor accounts in the assigned collection portfolio to ensure timely payments, focusing on key monthly targets such as Cash Received, DSO, Dispute resolution, and Bad Debts, while logging all relevant data in Trust-It daily.
- Actively engage with customers and internal stakeholders through calls to facilitate the collections process, support cross-functional communication, reduce order backlogs, and improve Working Capital.
- Communicate completed tasks to the Manager Credit & Collections with fact-based data to ensure transparency and efficiency.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Fluent in English and ideally German
- Finance or Business-related Secondary vocational education plus 2 years of experience in Credit & Collections.
- Track record of achieving improvements and hitting cash collection targets – result oriented.
