What you’ll do:

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of UNICORN / IT/ automation projects, from initial concept and design through execution, testing, and implementation, across the Cytiva Digital and Service portfolios.
  • Collaborate with SDM's and cross-functional teams (engineering, IT, operations, sales, etc.) to identify opportunities for UNICORN/ IT/ automation and ensure seamless integration into existing processes, developing project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to meet organizational goals.
  • Oversee the implementation and deployment of IT technologies, tools, and platforms, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
  • Monitor project progress, address challenges, and provide status updates to stakeholders at various levels of the organization, including further post-implementation reviews to measure the impact of automation projects on efficiency, cost savings, and quality outcomes.
  • Train and mentor team members in the digital portfolio, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's Degree or IT skilled professional required, with previous knowledge of Microsoft SQL from the chemistry, bioprocessing, life science or mechanical engineering or equivalent disciplines.
  • Experienced in MS SQL installation and Instance creation. Competency with SQL management studio, Database creation. Experienced in the backup and restore functions, including running and editing of SQL scripts.
  • Skilled in networking, with knowledge of TCP, UDP ports and firewall rules. Windows exposure being able to define command prompts. The ability to understand PC operating systems, Servers and comfortable in conversing with customers in relation to active directories and users/groups.
  • Fully versed in the UNICORN controlling software portfolio, Biacore insight software, with the ability to have technical conversations related to OPC and Delta V integration of Cytiva equipment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring of cross-functional project teams, with the ability to collaborate across various levels of the business and an ability to drive project design plans to completion on time and within budget.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Work onsite and remotely within the allocated zone.
  • Current Driving license.
  • Ability to travel visa free across Europe.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in one or more: cell culture, media development, bio-processing, life science, as well as familiarity with ISO 13485.
  • Proficient with project management principles (e.g., resource allocation, cost estimation, risks analysis) & project management tools and applications software to manage complex project timelines.
  • Commercial/Sales acumen and knowledge of all Cytiva, Service supporting digital products.
