The 24/7 Shift Leader is responsible for all operations outside of the normal shift working hours, including health and safety, quality and production. This position reports to Glyn Smale, Night Shift Operations Manager, and is part of the Operations Department, located in Ilfracombe and will be an on-site role.
What you will do:
- Stringently enforce Cytiva’s Health and Safety policy.
- Ensure that employees are consistently following Cytiva's policies and procedures.
- Be first contact in event of technical issue outside core hours & communicate effectively with all levels throughout the Ilfracombe plant.
Who you are:
- Have proven effective People Management and Leadership skills.
- Must have knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures.
- Be able to coach and mentor First Line Supervision.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- CMI Certificate or Diploma in Management or equivalent.
- IOSH / NEBOSH for Health and Safety.
