The DBSO Director is responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of the Danaher Business System (DBS) at Danaher companies, allowing those sites to meet their Policy Deployment (PD) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets. The DBSO Director helps to create DBS Sustainability both broadly across Danaher and in a targeted fashion at mentored OpCos / Sites. This position is part of the Danaher Business System Office and will be remote in the UK, Sweden or Ireland.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Accelerate results in SQDC by leveraging DBS tools, mentoring skills, and change management processes, with a focus on Danaher Reliability Systems.
  • Assist OpCo and site leadership in the development of a DBS roadmap to meet PD/CVD/KPI requirements and DBS Sustainability.
  • Continue to evolve DBS tools, act as a Tool Process owner for select DBS tools, promote the use and improvement of these tools and build a network of global CPs and ACPs to support Danaher and OpCO needs.
  • Build DBS culture and capabilities across Danaher by mentoring and supporting associate’s development in DBS Fundamentals and other DBS tools as required.
  • Broaden DBS capabilities and business acumen by applying lean concepts across a large variety of manufacturing and business environments.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 10+ years of Engineering and/or Quality Systems Leadership experience, BS or BA Degree in Engineering or Business; ideally familiar with regulations governing Diagnostics, Life Sciences, and Pharmaceutical industries (ie. FDA, GMP, and ISO).
  • Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a strategic point of view and also being able to engage in technical problem solving; must have good data analytics capabilities.
  • Mastery of DBS Fundamentals and Danaher Reliability System tools; preferably with CP or ACP status.
  • Superior communications skills with a proven ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management.
