The LCF Line Leader is responsible for day to day running of LCF and LCF weld to ensure the safety and wellbeing of LCF associates, lead associates in quality and productivity to meet customer demands internally and externally. This position reports to Peter Bell and is part of the Cabin Air family located in Redruth and will be an on-site role.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Ensure compliance with local environmental health and safety procedures including Kamishibai, risk assessment, near misses and safety concerns.
  • Be responsible for quality and productivity of team members with the authority to stop production to ensure quality problems are corrected.
  • Lead continuous improvement and lean transformation process participating in any CI activities as required, including set up reduction and tooling rationalization.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Ability to lead a team to achieve optimum productivity.
  • Experience in an assembly environment.
  • Good communication skills and computer literacy.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • The use of SAP, Microsoft Excel and Lotus Notes applications.
  • Continuous improvement and lean transformation processes.
  • Supporting your team in problem solving opportunities.
