The Technical Product Manager is responsible for the growth of Abcam’s Oncology and Immuno-Oncology portfolio, with a focus on product launches, market and customer insights, scientific content, and customer engagement.

This is a fixed‑term maternity cover role for 12 months, offering an exciting opportunity to coordinate cross-functional projects across Product Management, Marketing, Digital, Sales, and Scientific Support to maintain project continuity, deliver launch materials, gather feedback, and support customer-focused portfolio growth.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Research Area Solutions and is part of the Product Portfolio team located in Cambridge, UK and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to

  • Coordinate activities required to bring new products and solutions to market.
  • Support development of launch materials and customer-facing messaging.
  • Coordinate and partner on cross-functional projects involving Product Management, Marketing, Digital, Sales, and Scientific Support teams.
  • Work with internal experts to ensure content is scientifically accurate and aligned with customer needs.
  • Support development of scientific content including webinars, product pages, application materials, and educational resources.

The essential requirements of the job include

  • Degree in life sciences or related field
  • Experience in product management, marketing, commercial, or related life sciences role.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work across different teams.
  • Interest in translating scientific concepts into customer-focused solutions.
