We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Technician on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, to support our operations during a defined period. The Logistics Technician is responsible for receiving and processing incoming deliveries, shipping finished product, both domestic and international, and the accurate auditing of the locations and quantities of our raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods. You will report to the Logistics Manager and be part of the Logistics team located in Discovery Drive, Cambridge, and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Pick/Pack/Ship finished goods for domestic and international shipments
- Print and apply labels for manufactured components
- Assemble completed components into finished goods and stock in inventory management system
- Identify and locate materials using our automated systems
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team and individually
- Experience in a fast-paced environment such as retail, hospitality, customer service, warehouse, distribution, logistics or manufacturing
This role will include picking and storing of items in a walk-in freezer environment; insulated clothing will be provided.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in using WMS systems such as SCALE.
