In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Serve as a subject matter expert in clinical microbiology, demonstrating a deep understanding of laboratory procedures, protocols, and best practices.
Collaborate with the sales team to support pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, technical discussions, and customer training.
Provide on-site or remote training to laboratory staff on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of microbiology diagnostic instruments.
Assist customers in setting up and optimizing laboratory workflows for efficient and accurate microbiology testing.
Conduct product installations, validations, and performance verifications at customer sites.
The essential requirements of the job include
Bachelor\’s degree in Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field. A Master\’s degree is preferred.
Strong knowledge and understanding of clinical microbiology principles, techniques, and laboratory practices.
Experience working in a clinical microbiology laboratory, preferably with hands-on experience with microbiology diagnostic instruments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to travel 75% travel, overnight, within territory
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
IVD-Industry application support
Good understanding of lab IT environment
