Location: Mountsorrel, Leicestershire, with travel across the UK as required

Salary: £70,000 to £80,000 per annum depending on experience

Job type: Full-time, Permanent, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About us: Danaher & Walsh is a long-established, growing civil engineering contractor operating across the Midlands. Pipeline Solutions is our specialist sewer rehabilitation division, and this role offers an ambitious candidate the chance to build on an established client base and drive the continued growth of the business. Please note that this company does not offer sponsorship and therefore candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the UK to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Always delivering strong customer service on-site
  • Management and development of the Pipeline Solutions team
  • Targeting and sourcing new business opportunities across the region
  • Research and identifying the latest technologies in sewer rehabilitation, staying up to date with industry innovations and emerging methods
  • Evaluating and recommending equipment upgrades and technological advancements to improve operational efficiency and service delivery
  • Identifying and assessing investment opportunities in new technologies and solutions to ensure Pipeline Solutions remains at the forefront of the sewer rehabilitation sector
  • Attending site visits to evaluate works requested by clients
  • Producing accurate quotations promptly in accordance with agreed costings
  • Proactively following up on quotations to secure business
  • Upselling to existing clients, maintaining relationships and understanding future needs
  • Managing your own diary and administration effectively
  • Travelling to various locations across the region as required
  • Attending sales and networking events to promote Pipeline Solutions
  • Proactively marketing services through advertising campaigns and platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Operating and assisting with cutting units and reinstatement works
  • Working across lining, patching and rehabilitation teams
  • Carrying out and reviewing site-specific risk assessments
  • Quality assurance of site deliverables
  • Ensuring all works are completed in line with method statements and H&S procedures
  • Ensuring teams maintain tools, plant and PPE to a high standard

About you:

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Background in the service industry, ideally drainage/waste management, construction or multi-utility (essential)
  • Excellent work ethic with the ability and willingness to go above and beyond
  • Desire to succeed in a niche but highly rewarding market
  • Good all-round knowledge of CIPP lining and patch repair works
  • Knowledge of all curing systems and installation methods covering all pipeline rehabilitation
  • Knowledge of ancillary equipment including CCTV and robotic cutting equipment
  • Ability to work as part of a team and get involved with the installation team when required
  • Knowledge of working safely within confined spaces
  • NRSWA (Streetworks) qualification
  • Confined Space Training
  • EUSR Water Hygiene / SHEA
  • CSCS Card
  • CCTV or jetting experience
  • Traffic management knowledge
  • UK Driving Licence (required)
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom (required)
