About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and organised Programme Coordinator to support the Delivery Manager in managing the Risk Identified Sewer Cleaning (RISC) programme and related proactive jetting and CCTV activities within our IMR WR framework contract with Anglian Water. This role is key to helping ensure commercial viability, statutory compliance and excellent customer service. It also supports the protection of the environment, associated networks and downstream treatment processes.

You will work closely with Water Recycling network colleagues, delivery stakeholders across the alliance and wider business teams. You will help ensure delivery teams work safely, effectively and efficiently, with minimal disruption to customers and the public.

If you have a background in programme coordination, network operations or infrastructure delivery and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Ensuring planned proactive programmes are carried out safely and effectively, meeting all regulatory requirements and avoiding adverse effects on downstream treatment processes.
  • Managing the identification of serviceable and structural defects, escalating appropriately and incorporating planned work schedules, PPM, into the programme of activities.
  • Ensuring unchartered assets are mapped, and that amendments to GNET are updated where proven incorrect.
  • Critically reviewing asset history and job data to enhance infrastructure performance, service and efficiency.
  • Maintaining the RISC team Action Log and Planner, ensuring actions are tracked, followed up and evidenced.
  • Managing performance metrics within assigned parcels, tracking KPIs, producing trend reports and alerting the Delivery Manager to deviations.
  • Overseeing subcontractors working within the parcel area, including health and safety, commercial and KPI compliance.
  • Planning work for all active delivery teams, organising project coordinators and leads to ensure a cohesive programme.
  • Populating and maintaining the commercial tracker summary every week, ensuring accuracy and actively managing cost allocation.
  • Tracking all health and safety audits and visits, producing reports on best practice and good catches.
  • Collaborating with WR Network teams, alliance partners and wider business colleagues to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Carrying out standby and emergency duties as required.

Sound understanding of health and safety principles

  • Experience of coaching and team development.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in network operations, including CCTV, jetting or construction.
  • Scheduling and planning experience within a programme environment.
  • Experience working with commercial trackers and cost management processes.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to co-ordinate multiple teams and workstreams.
  • Commercial awareness and confidence managing trackers, costs and contractor performance.
  • Clear and effective communication across delivery teams, alliance partners and internal stakeholders.
  • A proactive, safety-first mindset with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to respond calmly to changing priorities and operational demands.
