A civil engineering graduate programme is available at Danaher & Walsh Civil Engineering. The purpose of this role is to complement vocational learning done at University with practical on-site experience to learn and develop the skills to become a Site Engineer/Civil Engineer. The Graduate will be mentored by the Site Engineer / Sub Agent / Agent who you will assist with establishing the level and survey control for contracts and set out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring that checks are made regularly.
In addition to this, a Graduate site engineer forms part of the site management team and takes some of the responsibility for security, health and safety, organising and supervising materials and people, liaising with the client / main and sub-contractors and the site manager.
