The Supply Chain Leader is responsible for managing cross‑functional projects and sustainment activities that improve manufacturing effectiveness, product lifecycle support, and overall supply chain reliability. The Leader will also perform day‑to‑day supply chain activities – including demand, material, and production planning – to ensure on‑time and cost‑effective fulfilment of customer orders.

What you will do:

  • Lead supply chain/operations projects focused on NPD, process improvement, cost reduction, and supply continuity.
  • Support product care/sustainment activities, including engineering changes, lifecycle updates, and obsolescence management.
  • Develop production, material, and capacity plans to ensure on‑time supply of components to manufacturing and finished goods to customers.
  • Improve and sustain planning processes, tools, and master data.
  • Manage material and service supplier performance including lead times and material availability.
  • Resolve shortages and cost issues.
  • Track KPIs such as OTD, inventory, and supplier performance to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify and implement corrective/preventative actions as necessary.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations / Supply Chain Management (or a related field).
  • Extensive experience of progressive in Supply Chain, Materials Management or Operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience using ERP systems for planning, inventory and execution (Oracle ERP preferred).
  • Experience managing product lifecycle transitions, including phase‑in/phase‑out and new product introductions.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities, escalation and cross‑functional projects under pressure.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Able to travel within UK/Europe in support of the role objectives (estimated at 10%).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in ISO 9000, cGMP, or other regulated manufacturing environments.

Application of the Danaher Business System (DBS) or similar lean operating systems in a manufacturing setting.
