The Sr Project Manager, Fast Trak Scientific Excellence is pivotal in driving excellence in our innovation projects, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry.
The position is responsible formanaging development, market support, collaboration or improvement projects for any Process Development (PD) service in the strategic plan which may include services and/or products associated with our portfolio.
Working from early phase (definition of specs) through concept and design and then into testing, validation or publication depending on the project type. This position reports to the Director, Fast Trak Scientific Excellence PMO and is part of the Clinical Programs Portfolio & Commercial Ops team located in the UK.What you will do: Lead a cross-functional team to execute on innovation projects.
Collaborate closely with other departments including product management, subject matter experts, Fast Trak scientists, quality assurance, operations, marketing, sourcing and legal to ensure seamless execution of tasks. Foster a collaborative environment to drive project success. Innovation and improvement – continuously seek opportunities to improve existing processes and develop new, innovative solutions that enhance team performance. Responsible for creating and owning project schedule.
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality deliverables. Run regular project meetings ensuring all actions are assigned, tracked and completed on time.
Tracking / reporting of project risks and issues; making and delivering mitigation plans as required to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
Stakeholder identification and engagement; provide regular updates and ensure alignment with Senior Stakeholders on project goals, objectives and maintain visibility of project status.
Work in accordance with the Project Management tools of the Danaher Business System.
Who you are:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in science, engineering, biotechnology or a related field.
Possess a working knowledge of downstream bioprocessing / protein purification.
Multiple years project management experience in a matrixed team environment, preferably in new product development (NPD) space, with good track record of delivering large, cross-functional projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong leadership and solution driven with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Designing or delivering new technical services to marketFamiliarity with digital productsA foundational understanding of new and emergent therapeutic modalitiesJoin our winning team today.
