The Global Business Unit Demand Planner is responsible for creating an accurate, data-driven demand forecast that guides the entire supply chain, directly influencing customer service, inventory investment, and production efficiency. Translating market signals, historical data and business intelligence into a reliable demand plan enables better decision making across sales, operations and finance - reducing stock-outs, minimizing excess inventory and improving overall profitability and agility to the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an accurate statistical and consensus forecast.
- Lead the demand review process within S&OP.
- Identify demand risks and opportunities.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and bias.
- Translate the demand plan into clear and actionable signals for Supply planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or relevant field.
- Ability to travel regionally and internationally up to 25% of the time.
- Experience with Kinaxis Maestro Advanced Planning System.
- Understanding of RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Actions) and Counter Measures (CM) processes and Action Plan implementation.
