The Applied AI & Productivity Lead is responsible for improving operational efficiency, harmonization and standardization of ways of working, and supporting strategic goal-setting across the Automation & Digital (A&D) organization via data collection and analysis. Your success will be measured through achievement of productivity and efficiency targets such as measurable efficiency gains, increased throughput, and on time delivery. Expected impact on the business includes and is not limited to: faster delivery of milestones, increased output capacity, decreased operational expense, increased feature creation and better overall quality performance.

The role requires streamlining a global and robust framework with workflows rooted in Danaher Business System (DBS) fundamentals and state-of-the-art tools in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). You will lead and participate in various DBS Kaizen workshops resulting in action plans and sustainable results by leveraging AI/RPA tools, piloting solutions and establishing standardized frameworks. In addition, you will analyze operational data to identify opportunities for efficiency gains, resolve issues, and implement enhancements that drive sustained productivity. You will ensure accountability and productivity optimization by prioritizing impact areas, identifying ownership, and implementing metrics and early-warning indicators.

What you will do:

  • Support R&D key strategies by identifying optimal locations, defining staffing models, and planning project transition timelines.
  • Support Transformation Governance through metrics, KPIs and dashboards.
  • Assess applicability and scalability of your solutions across different processes, projects and products.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the organization, helping to educate and train coworkers with the aim of growing the RPA/AI culture.
  • Recommend and design future workflows that minimize administrative input and increase speed; link and automate workflows between existing systems.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Artificial Intelligence /Computer Science/ Business Data Science/ Data Analytics/ Software Engineering) Master’s preferred (MBA, MSc in Engineering/ Computer Science/ Business) and/or formal certification in transformation/operations (e.g., PMP, Prosci, Six Sigma, DBS).
  • Experience in tech/R&D operations, transformation roles and/or productivity improvements, including implementing RPA and AI projects at scale and large-scale process/tool migrations or standardizations.
  • Deep-domain expertise with AI/RPA concepts, KPI design, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making for productivity optimization.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, manage timelines, mitigate risks, and drive adoption across diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with any or all of: Jira, Confluence, Data Dog, Mix Panel, SalesForce, OpenSearch, AWS, Github.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to travel 5-10% of the time globally.
