The Marketing Cloud Technical Lead is a detail-oriented and analytical problem solver who works closely with stakeholders to collect, translate and implement requirements within Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionalities. This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment, while supporting integration and campaign execution. We are looking for a candidate that is proactive, collaborative, and experienced in working across teams delivering high-quality marketing automation solutions. This position is part of the Global Strategic Marketing team and will be a remote role, based in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Gather and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Maintain the SCIEX Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment.
- Support integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other platforms, including contribution to data model development.
- Develop and maintain APIs, emails, customer journeys, and related assets, ensuring smooth execution of campaigns.
- Track campaign effectiveness through BI dashboards, ROI, KPI analysis, website usage and recommend improvements.
- Monitor and optimize campaign metrics such as reach, engagement, segmentation, and data enrichment to improve effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations, ideally involving integrations with Salesforce core and other platforms.
- Certified Salesforce Developer or Administrator.
- Strong understanding and experience working with Salesforce Data Cloud.
- Experience designing and implementing cloud pages, customer journeys, marketing automation, and omni-channel communication in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders as part of email campaign build, design and execution.
- Experience with web analytics and performance tracking tools.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Excellent project management skills, including organizing, prioritizing and tracking all phases of a project.
