The IT Business Enablement Director, Manufacturing is responsible for bridging business objectives with IT capabilities to deliver measurable business outcomes for the Cytiva Manufacturing value streams. This role will drive strategic alignment, operational excellence, and innovation across enterprise IT initiatives, ensuring technology investments maximise value and accelerate business transformation.

As a member of the IT Business Enablement team, this role will partner with the Manufacturing and Quality organisations through establishing technology roadmaps, fostering strong partnerships, and embedding agile, process-centric delivery models. This position reports to the IT Business Enablement Leader for Manufacturing & Quality and is part of the Information Technology team. This position will also serve as virtual team lead and delegate for the IT Business Enablement Leader – Manufacturing & Quality.

What you will do:

  • Act as the primary IT partner for Manufacturing and Quality for the assigned portfolio, creating a single interface between business leaders and IT, aligning strategies with Cytiva priorities, and sustaining strong relationships to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Define, maintain, and evolve Manufacturing and Quality technology and application roadmaps, translating external trends, emerging technologies, and innovation opportunities into actionable strategies while ensuring a robust, integrated, value-driven technology landscape.
  • Lead value stream–based discovery and prioritisation by partnering with process owners, IT Business Analysts, and IT Business Enablement Leads to identify business outcomes, align them to appropriate value streams, and manage prioritisation against value stream backlogs.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of strategic IT initiatives by defining and executing key deliverables, establishing delivery approaches with IT Delivery & Governance, mobilising value stream execution teams, and leading PoCs, URS development, and ROI / Say-Do tracking across the lifecycle.
  • Ensure operational excellence and compliance by adhering to GxP and regulatory standards, proactively managing portfolio risks, championing continuous improvement and innovation, and providing leadership across the IT Business Enablement pillar, including acting as virtual team lead and delegate for the pillar head.

Who you are:

  • 12+ years in roles with experience in IT environments.
  • Breadth of knowledge across Cytiva business (preferred) and IT domains (necessary).
  • Experience with Functional / Technical Authoring (VSM +).
  • Process, System & Continuous Improvement knowledge.
  • Collaborative, self-driven, and outcome-orientated.
  • Proven problem solving and solutioning skills; Ability to influence at relevant levels.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience with M&A and Due Diligence focused projects at global and cross-functional scale.
