The Accounting Senior Manager, Controller, UKI is responsible for the accounting and financial control of Cytiva UK and Ireland entities, including any future UK entities. This on-site role reports to the Director, EMEA West Controller and is part of the EMEA Controlling Team in Portsmouth.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare annual statutory accounts and manage local audit, including tax returns and internal tax reporting.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting for the assigned legal entities.
- Timely and accurate completion of USGAAP closes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Several years' experience maintaining the balance sheet and understanding P&L fluctuations.
- Worked in an SOX environment and performed UK statutory filings including tax returns.
- Experience in a global business environment with a sound understanding of global processes and transactional flows.
- Accounting or Finance qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong analytical skills: able to link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change.
- Experience working in a matrix environment.
