Overview
In this role you drive the Biotechnology Group’s total rewards strategy and governance, shaping global compensation and benefits programs. You will partner with group leadership, OpCo HR, and Danaher Corporate Total Rewards to attract, retain, and reward talent aligned with business priorities. You’ll lead compensation planning, incentive programs, and cross‑OpCo benefits harmonization, using data-driven insights to guide decisions. You will act as a change leader, leveraging the Danaher Business System to deliver scalable rewards solutions. Responsibilities
- Provide total rewards strategy for the Biotechnology Group across OpCos, including compensation, benefits, recognition, and governance
- Advise leaders on policy, program design, job evaluation, benchmarking, sales compensation, offers, promotions, mobility, recognition, and retention
- Lead annual compensation planning and coordinate global incentive, equity, and other programs
- Partner with Corporate Total Rewards to communicate, train, and drive change management for rewards programs
- Develop metrics and scorecards to measure program success and drive process excellence with DBS tools
- Support rewards aspects of HR mergers and acquisitions, from due diligence to post‑close execution
- Coach and develop OpCo rewards teams with technical guidance and project leadership
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; advanced degree preferred
- Extensive experience in global compensation and benefits design and management
- Experience leading global total rewards in a complex, matrixed environment
- Strategic thinker with hands‑on capability to operationalize strategies
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder influence across multiple levels and regions
- Deep knowledge of salary structures, market benchmarking, variable pay, and equity/long‑term incentives
- Experience with rewards for M&A including integration planning and execution
- Proficiency in compensation analytics and reporting to inform leadership decisions
