Overview
As Senior Employee Relations Partner, you will shape and execute the UK&I ER strategy aligned with Cytiva’s objectives and Danaher’s continuous improvement culture. You will provide hands-on case management, governance, and strategic guidance to senior People Leaders, supporting sensitive matters and transformation initiatives. Your work spans UK&I with European DH input as needed, helping to balance legal compliance, risk, and business priorities. This role offers a chance to influence employee experience across a complex, multi-site organisation while working on high-impact labour relations issues.

Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain UK&I ER governance frameworks ensuring legal compliance and defensible decisions across high-risk matters
- Apply European employment law awareness to regional matters and escalate appropriately
- Manage a broad ER caseload across UK&I non-manufacturing and corporate workforce with practical, legally informed advice
- Coordinate with external counsel on litigation and pre-litigation activities including ACAS Early Conciliation
- Provide strategic ER support for restructures and organisational change ensuring compliant and commercially balanced outcomes
- Provide functional leadership, coaching, and escalation support to ER Specialists and HR colleagues
Key requirements
- Senior ERPartner level experience or equivalent
- Proven advisory experience to senior leaders on high-risk ER matters including restructures and litigation
- Experience working on ER matters in at least one European jurisdiction or strong understanding of European employment law frameworks
- Ability to operate autonomously with sound judgement on matters involving legal, reputational, or business risk
- Experience partnering with People Leaders and HR in a complex matrix environment
- Experience developing ER governance frameworks and translating ER data into strategic actions
- Willingness to travel across UK sites
