Overview
In this global role, you embed DBS into Cytiva's QARA organization to drive regulatory-compliant continuous improvement across quality and regulatory processes. You’ll build a DBS operating system, lead the kaizen and problem-solving funnel, and advance digital enablement to improve performance and compliance. You’ll partner with QARA leadership and cross-functional teams to scale DBS across regions, delivering measurable impact on quality and efficiency. This is a senior, on-site role in Amersham, UK or Marlborough, MA with global scope and strategic influence.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the QARA DBS roadmap, including policy deployment, KPI management, daily management, visual management, and structured problem solving
- Establish an effective operating cadence via leadership reviews, risk assessments, opportunity evaluations, and improvement planning
- Build DBS capability across QARA through coaching, training, kaizen facilitation, standard work, and follow-up
- Apply DBS tools to address deviations, CAPAs, audits, regulatory commitments, and customer complaints to improve quality and compliance
- Manage global QARA kaizen and problem-solving funnel with strategic prioritization and sustainable embedding
- Represent QARA within the DBS Community of Practice to share best practices and leverage enterprise learnings
- Champion digital, automation, and AI-enabled solutions that enhance DBS execution and KPI visibility
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field
- Minimum 7 years applying DBS, Lean, or continuous improvement in regulated environments (Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, etc)
- Proven ability to lead improvement through influence across cultures and leadership levels
- Strong understanding of quality and regulatory processes with a focus on compliance while driving improvement
- Experience driving sustained results through structured problem solving, kaizen leadership, and performance management
