The Equipment Service Center Specialist will deliver excellent customer service for both internal and external stakeholders as part of the EMEA Equipment Service Installation Team at Amersham Place, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. This on-site role reports to the EMEA Installation Team Leader.
What you will do:
- Establish and maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, including Regional Service Managers, Field Service Engineers, Finance and Sales teams.
- Open service requests and installations, and dispatch installation and other planned service work orders in a timely manner and to high quality.
- Work as part of a team and adopt a flexible approach to maintain and improve the quality of service and deliver installation projects to customer timelines.
- Provide excellent customer service for both internal and external customers.
- Build close relationships with customers and commercial partners and respond to queries in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Written and oral fluency in English (additional European languages are a bonus).
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and workload management skills.
- Experience with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) or ERP (e.g., Oracle/SAP) systems.
- Previous client and customer service experience.
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy customer service environment.
Travel and Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Willingness for occasional business travel (once per year).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to speak and write in another European language to business standard (B2/C1).
- Previous experience in the life sciences/biopharma industry in a customer-facing capacity (a plus but not required).
