Overview
In this role you drive operational efficiency and standardization across the Automation & Digital organization, using AI and RPA to boost throughput and reduce costs. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to translate DBS principles into scalable workflows and measurable improvements. Your work supports faster milestone delivery, higher output, and better product quality in life sciences solutions. This role offers the chance to shape digital transformation at a global scale and to advance patient outcomes through data‑driven decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in DBS Kaizen workshops to define action plans and sustainable improvements using AI/RPA.
- Analyze operational data to identify efficiency opportunities, resolve issues, and implement productivity enhancements.
- Define staffing models, locate optimal R&D/support locations, and plan project transition timelines to support key strategies.
- Provide governance through metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to track transformation progress.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to educate and grow RPA/AI culture across the organization.
- Design and recommend future workflows that minimize manual input and automate cross-system processes.
Key requirements
- Bachelor (Artificial Intelligence /Computer Science/ Business Data Science/ Data Analytics/ Software Engineering)
- Experience in tech/R&D operations, transformation roles or productivity improvements, including RPA and AI projects at scale
- Deep knowledge of AI/RPA concepts, KPI design, dashboards, and data‑driven decision making
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects, manage timelines, mitigate risks, and drive adoption
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, DataDog, MixPanel, Salesforce, OpenSearch, AWS, Github
