Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic plan for the Diagnostics business.
- Own and drive the end-to‑end product portfolio strategy for the diagnostics business, including growth, profitability, and market positioning.
- Ensure portfolio performance delivers against key performance indicators and lead problem‑solving processes to identify root causes and implement counter‑measures.
- Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the D&G and LF organization as a member of the leadership team.
- Lead delivery of the innovation pipeline through the Innovation Council and ownership of portfolio deliverables, ensuring clear flow of projects to meet IFV/IPV targets.
- Partner cross‑functionally with R&D, operations, and commercial teams to ensure successful NPD execution and product launches.
- Spearhead a design‑in mentality across the organization to enhance long‑term success.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4 direct reports, fostering a high‑performance culture and ensuring clear communication of goals, expectations, and feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, or portfolio leadership; a plus if within diagnostics, life sciences, or medical devices.
- Experience working cross‑functionally with R&D, operations, and commercial teams to deliver new product development (NPD).
- Experience leading and developing teams, including direct management of product management teams.
- Demonstrated experience managing product portfolios with P&L responsibility and delivering against revenue and margin targets.
Travel & Physical/Environment Requirements
Ability to travel internationally – up to 35% of the time and up to consecutive weeks.
Preferred Experience
Experience working within the diagnostics industry.
