The Director, Devices & Micro Product is responsible for leading a portfolio of $150M within Lab Filtration, spanning devices, microbiology and collection solutions that customers rely on to support critical research, life science manufacturing, and applied market workflows. This leader will shape the strategy, performance, and growth of the portfolio, driving customer value, innovation, and commercial execution across a global business.
This position reports to the VP, GM Diagnostics & Genomics and Lab Filtration and is part of the D&G & LF leadership team, part of Discovery and Medical Operating company located in Cardiff (UK), Amersham (UK) or Marlborough (US) offices and will be an on-site roleWhat you will do:
Ensure portfolio performance delivers against CVD and key business KPIs, leading PSP problem-solving to identify root causes and implement countermeasures across the portfolio.
Drive the innovation pipeline for Devices & Micro, ensuring a clear flow of customer-backed projects that meet IFV/IPV targets and strengthen the long-term competitiveness of the portfolio.
Partner cross-functionally with R&D, operations, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams to deliver successful NPD execution, product launches, and lifecycle initiatives.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5 direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture with clear priorities, strong accountability, and regular feedback.
