About the Role
The Commercial Contract Specialist is primarily responsible for reviewing, identifying, and seeking approvals for commercial contract terms and conditions which may pose legal, financial, and compliance risks. This position reports to the Commercial Contracts Manager, is part of the Commercial Contracts team located in Little Chalfont and will be an on-site role.
What you will do:
- Review commercial purchase orders, tenders, and sales agreements to identify non-standard terms/conditions; flag risks
- Administer the contract approval process and coordinate with cross-functional team members (e.g., sales, customer service, legal, finance, controllership, and tax) to review and approve terms
- Provide contract administration support, including reporting, status tracking, entry into a contracts management system, facilitating signatures, etc.
- Develop and provide related training as needed
- Assist in the optimization of the contracts management system
Who you are:
- College degree and extensive work experience
- Extensive experience working with order processing/operations in a commercial environment
- Demonstrated experience prioritising and effectively managing high volumes in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent writing and communication skills
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Additional language fluency, Spanish or Italian ideal
- Working with commercial contracts and related terms & conditions
- SFDC and any SFDC-based contract lifecycle management systems
