This role will report into the Head of Marketing and work to shape and scale our long-term global PR strategy, including agency management of 3 external teams in the UK, USA and France, as well as working on the development of new opportunity markets. As the brand grows, this role will also be integral in delivering disruptive and industry-leading talent partnerships to support 360 campaign moments, and story-led social content franchises; as well as driving ongoing paid partnerships to drive product storytelling and commercial objectives across paid channels.

The ideal candidate has significant experience in traditional PR, influencer & talent marketing; either agency or in-house, with proven experience of building authentic and lasting brand communities, delivering best-in-class talent partnerships and with an extensive network of contacts across the full industry landscape including editors, stylists, agents, influencers, KOLs and VIPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing to shape our long term global PR strategy across core and opportunity markets - working synergistically with our external agencies to achieve territory specific and brand-wide PR and comms objectives across both B2B and D2C.
  • Management of Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Assistant on the day-to-day running of the PR function and external agency management.
  • Ensuring consistent workflows to service 3rd party agencies with seasonal assets, press releases, gifting lookbooks and ongoing updates on brand messaging focuses and commercial priorities.
  • Working to maximise brand campaign, partnership and wholesale moments through traditional PR and innovative media-partnerships.
  • Drive visibility and relevance globally, overseeing and driving VIP and celebrity dressing opportunities with brand aligned and culturally relevant talent.
  • Maintain consistency in brand voice and identity whilst growing awareness globally, scaling to new markets, and elevating brand positioning and equity.

Influencer and Talent Partnerships:

  • Work with Head of Marketing and Marketing Coordinator to re-define, grow and nurture a global community of brand-aligned, culturally relevant and disruptive talent and KOLs through organic seeding and paid partnerships.
  • Lead the team on delivering creator, influencer, and UGC initiatives from inception to execution; focusing on optimizing paid partnerships for social engagement, talkability and cultural relevance.
  • Work closely with Social Creative Lead to build a roster of first-to-market content partnerships for new and exciting social content franchises - specifically focused on disruptive brand storytelling driving reach, talkability and engagement across Instagram and TikTok.
  • Manage the team to service earned channels with always-on UGC and commissioned creator content; ensuring earned channels reflect our brand identity, positioning and ethos, while meeting commercial and revenue objectives.
  • Work with Head of Marketing and Creative Director on casting for bigger brand moments, including potentially working on bigger ‘Face’ led campaigns.

Gifting & Community Strategy:

  • Managing the Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Assistant to maximise gifting and seeding efforts across both brand and commercial objectives.
  • Maintain and defend our existing brand community through effective and ongoing community management, as well as growing our community across core and opportunity markets to maximise our global reach and positioning objectives.
  • Oversee weekly outreach and implement new strategies to optimise coverage, and support strategic brand or product led moments.
  • Expand gifting efforts across TikTok and other growth opportunity channels.
  • Work with the team to concept and deliver community led events and content franchises to articulate the ‘Damson Girl’ to our global audiences in disruptive and innovative new ways.
  • Lead the team to become connected and ‘external-facing’, building the brand and the team's profile in industry and driving B2B connections to aid in community growth and brand visibility.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in PR & Talent management for a fashion, lifestyle, or culturally driven brand or agency.
  • Established and extensive roster of industry contacts across the full industry landscape including editors, stylists, agents, influencers, KOLs and VIPs.
  • First-to-market mindset with deep understanding of the industry and cultural zeitgeist, and a flair for creator led, innovative brand-storytelling.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and out-the-box thinking, thrives working collaboratively with a creative team.
  • Extensive and proven experience building brand community through traditional PR, talent partnerships and events; with a 360 approach to community marketing.
  • Passionate about cultural brand marketing and adept at utilising that passion to drive cultural credibility.
  • Experience launching brands in new markets a bonus.
