Due to expansion, DAMM Environmental is seeking an experienced Drainage Operative. Our site is based in Hillington Industrial Estate which is easily accessible by car, bus or train. Salary is competitive and negotiable.
We are looking for operatives who hold a Class 2 licence to join our Vactor Division. Working as part of a team, you will respond to emergency calls from customers who are experiencing problems with their drains and sewers. If further work is required, you may be part of the team that is called upon to quickly follow up with plant and equipment to clean, repair, replace or CCTV for future reference, the affected part of the network.
What is absolutely essential is the ability to quickly diagnose and deliver solutions to attain the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This type of work requires individuals that have a high degree of common sense and practicality who can work efficiently and safely at all times.
We operate 24/7 and as such you are required to work flexible hours, weekends and participate in an on-call rota.
The ideal candidate will need to:
- Hold a Class 2 UK licence
- Be able to approach and resolve problems logically
- Demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm for the task in hand
- Have the ability to deal with customers effectively
- Be able to demonstrate technical knowledge and competency with regard to drainage
