Apprentice Dental Nurse

Overview

Apprentice Dental Nurse role at Damira Dental Studios. Provides efficient and reliable chair-side support to Practice Clinicians and contributes to a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Reception duties: answering the phone and greeting patients
• Dealing with patient queries
• Taking payments
• Booking appointments and follow-ups
• Sterilising and preparing equipment for dentists
• Recording and managing patient records
• Supporting patients’ wellbeing and dental experience
• Cleaning dental areas, including chairs
• Managing stock of equipment and supplies
• Other duties to support dentists and the senior team in delivering effective patient care

Qualifications and Training

• This qualification is a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship accredited by City & Guilds, delivered nationwide through blended interactive e-learning
• Upon achievement, the apprentice will be awarded a Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3, approved by the General Dental Council for entry to the professional register as a dental nurse
• Functional Skills in English and Maths at Level 2 unless already exempt

Within Practice Opening Hours: Monday – Sunday, 08:15 – 17:30
