Are you an experienced and client facing Senior Quantity Surveyor, who brings a positive attitude to a well-respected and growing medium-sized PQS/Construction Consultancy? You, the Senior Quantity Surveyor, will ideally have experience in Commercial, Residential or Hotel sectors. This position requires an extremely commercially astute and motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor, who brings professionalism to the table. There is a requirement to be in the Farringdon office 3 days a week, with 2 days at home.
The new Senior Quantity Surveyor will immediately work on a secured high-end Hotel and Prime Residential project, with contracts ranging between £8m - £40m. You will work with JCT/D&B contracts, collaborating with high-end clients from a myriad of industries. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will have a strong understanding from inception to completion.
The ideal candidate would be someone who has recently achieved their MRICS, or has been MRICS for the past 1-3 years. Senior Quantity Surveyors who have solid sector experience without MRICS will also be considered.
The Quantity Surveyor's duties will include managing the client from inception right through to completion, undertaking pre & post contract duties. There is endless support and encouragement for all Quantity Surveyors to progress.
- Completed a BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying degree
- Must have a PQS / Consultancy background
- Understanding of JCT contracts (range from £5M - £50M)
- Quantity Surveying background with EA/PM knowledge/experience preferred
- Ideally involved in Commercial, Residential or Hotel projects
- Able to lead on client meetings and take full project life cycle
- Pre and post contract knowledge
- Understanding within the £8M - £45M contract values
- MRICS is always important, but experience is key too
