A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Traffic Engineer to work for a reputable, expanding organisation based in the Bedfordshire area.
Location – Luton Bedfordshire

Skills required for the job – Senior Engineer (Traffic)
- To support the Engineering Delivery Team Leader by being the company’s specialist lead on traffic management and safety engineering.
- To lead on the development of the Integrated Transport capital programme, carry out investigation of road accidents to identify target areas for action throughout the area and to oversee the design, safety audit and implementation of local safety and traffic management schemes across the Borough.
- Develop a programme for the Integrated Transport programme by carrying out assessments and preliminary investigations, feasibility studies into schemes/projects, carry out consultations and formulate briefs for implementation by in-house or external groups/consultants/contractors.
- Analyse and evaluate data, producing complex information and detailed reports on crash and casualty levels.
