Estimator - Fit Out & Interiors Location: Northampton Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum Job Type: Full-time The Company  A well-established and growing fit-out company based in Northampton, delivering high-quality commercial interior and fit-out projects for a range of clients across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team and play a key role in securing and delivering new projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Estimator who is looking to join a successful business where they can make a real impact. The Role As Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive estimates and tenders across a range of commercial fit-out projects. Working closely with the commercial and pre-construction teams, you will analyse tender information, obtain subcontractor and supplier quotations, and ensure projects are priced accurately and competitively. Key responsibilities will include: Preparing detailed estimates and tenders for commercial fit-out projects Reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes of work and tender documentation Carrying out accurate quantity take-offs and pricing Obtaining and assessing quotations from subcontractors and suppliers Identifying project risks, exclusions and opportunities Producing competitive and commercially sound tender submissions Liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams Attending tender meetings and site visits where required Supporting the commercial team through the pre-construction and handover process Maintaining accurate estimating records and cost databases Contributing to the continuous improvement of estimating processes About You We are looking for an experienced Estimator with a strong background in commercial fit out, interiors, refurbishment or construction. You will ideally have: Proven experience as an Estimator within the fit-out/interiors or construction sector Strong understanding of commercial fit-out projects and construction methods Excellent attention to detail and a commercially minded approach The ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation Experience obtaining and negotiating subcontractor/supplier quotations Strong IT and estimating skills Excellent communication and organisational skills The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player A proactive approach with the confidence to challenge, question and identify opportunities What We Offer £55,000 - £60,000 salary, depending on experience Opportunity to join a growing and successful fit-out business Varied and interesting commercial fit-out projects Supportive and collaborative working environment Opportunity for career progression and development A key role within the company's continued growth Car allowance  Company pension scheme
